{"id":4565,"date":"2022-06-17T14:42:11","date_gmt":"2022-06-17T12:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dicea.unina.it\/?p=4565"},"modified":"2022-06-17T14:42:11","modified_gmt":"2022-06-17T12:42:11","slug":"offerta-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dicea.unina.it\/en\/offerta-1\/","title":{"rendered":"CMCC Foundation &#8211; Hydraulic\/hydrological modelling expert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The CMCC Foundation is a scientific research center on climate change and its interactions with the environment, the society, the world of business and policy makers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Our work aims to stimulate sustainable growth, protect the environment and develop strategies for the adaptation and mitigation of climate change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Our Division of<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-GB\">Regional Models and geo-Hydrological Impacts (REMHI) is looking for a new position of hydraulic\/hydrological modelling expert, to support the division team in exploiting research activities, participating to research projects and delivering research papers for peer-reviewed international journals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The job location is CMCC REMHI Site in Caserta (CE), Italy<b>.<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">We are looking for a motivated person with the following requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Environmental Engineering;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">PhD (or equivalent experience) in Hydraulic or Environmental Engineering with focus on catchment hydrology, groundwater and\/or urban drainage (in order of preference);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Solid knowledge of Flood and Flood Hazard modelling in urban and natural catchments, Statistics of extremes and Extreme Value Analysis, Groundwater modelling (one or several);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience with MATLAB, ArcGIS, R (one or several).
