The Laboratory of Hydraulics and hydraulic and maritime constructions is located in the building C8 in via Claudio. It covers a total area of 1400 sq.m² outdoor and 1200 sq.m² indoor. The laboratory is divided into four functional areas: an outdoor area, where the largest hydraulic models are prepared, an outdoor basin equipped with wave generators, a large covered laboratory, an educational area. The whole laboratory has a network of water supply lines and drainage, provided with tanks of different sizes, collection tanks, groups pumps serving each tank, flow-meters.
