Erasmus+
The Erasmus programme, which stands for EuRopean Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students, is a student mobility programme of the European Union, created in 1987.
Within the Erasmus+ programme, the opportunities for the world of Education and Training aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of the systems and practices of the sector in Europe by pursuing the following objectives:
- to improve the professional skills of individuals;
- to broaden the knowledge and understanding of national policies and practices;
- - to strengthen the quality of teaching and learning;
- - to promote the modernization and internationalization of educational and training institutions;
- - to promote mobility activities.
Students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes can spend a study period abroad, from three to nine months, at a European university that has signed an agreement with the University of Naples Federico II. This mobility is supported by a scholarship and the study period is fully recognized.

Support and assistance
The University of Naples Federico II promotes SAFE UNINA, an initiative designed to offer support, guidance and concrete tools to Erasmus and international students during their period of study in Naples, ensuring safety, awareness and facilitated access to the University's services. SAFE UNINA is not only an informative guide, but a real point of reference to face university life in a new country with greater serenity. The initiative is particularly aimed at students from abroad, who may find themselves dealing with new or complex situations. Through an integrated system of tools and services, SAFE UNINA provides clear directions on how to move in case of need, making available useful contacts, procedures to follow and active channels of assistance in the area. These include emergency services, psychological support, health care, services dedicated to students with disabilities or DSA, as well as listening desks for situations of discomfort or discrimination. A central role is also played by digital tools, such as the MyUniNA app, which allows students to receive official communications, important updates and alerts in real time, facilitating access to university services and useful information for everyday academic life. The initiative also promotes the well-being and integration of students through activities, accompanying paths and opportunities for discussion, with the aim of fostering the construction of an inclusive community that is attentive to the needs of all. To learn in detail about all available services, correct procedures and actions to follow in case of emergency or need, you can consult the attached guide, which is a complete and operational tool for living the university experience in a safe and conscious way.
